I AM Destiny Academy is a school dedicated to helping children learn, grow and explore. The educational programs are tailored to help students address their specific learning needs, which are inadequately addressed in a typical classroom. I AM Destiny Academy embraces diversity, and the admitted children widely vary in their needs, culture, religion, race, originality, and ethnicity, among others. Our academy appreciates diversity as a core factor among each student’s particular needs. The staff is competent in addressing the needs of each student while respecting their values and beliefs.
Our Learning philosophy
Learning begins with a diagnostic placement in which the crucial needs and abilities of the students are identified. In a typical learning environment, students have relatively similar learning needs, and hence there is less attention to the specific needs of each student. I AM Destiny Academy has learning programs structured to strengthen the specific weaknesses of each student while harnessing their strengths. Our Academy offers a robust learning environment for students through the 12th grade. We are dedicated to helping vulnerable students have a unique learning experience to help them maximize and enjoy their educational life.

Our Learning Program
I AM Destiny Academy offers evidence-based learning programs. One of the crucial goals is to utilize a student’s natural abilities as a foundation for their learning. The students are grouped according to their strengths and abilities to ensure unified growth within a group. There is a mismatching of learning abilities in a typical classroom where the needs of struggling students can easily be overlooked. The school’s accelerated learning program which allows students who have fallen behind due to behaviors, to catch up and graduate with same aged peers. We focus on the all-around growth of the children, founded on Christian teachings. Some key programs in I AM Destiny Academy are apiary, restoration art therapy, pet therapy, and horticulture.
